My career in entertainment began at age seven when I was introduced to the drums. After arriving in Los Angeles, I formed the LA rock quartet Psoma, touring with bands like Weezer and The White Stripes, playing to sold-out crowds throughout the US and the world.  But as much fun as I was having, rock and roll by itself wasn't paying the bills.  That's when I was introduced to the world of tv commercial production.

As a commercial producer, I gained a unique lens into the needs of the vendor-client relationship and as a result, learned to understand the challenges freelancers face every day better than your typical big-box rental house. Before I ever rented a single piece of equipment to anyone other than myself, I made a solemn promise:  to ensure my clients' needs were always met no matter how difficult the challenge.  

 

Word about my little company began to spread, and soon enough the family garage was overrun with enough walkie talkies, charging stations, pelican cases and wireless communications equipment to make the CIA envious.

Today, Rockstar Communications has partnered with Film Set Rentals, a highly-regarded production supply and trucking rental house with over 30 years experience in the Hollywood equipment rental business. Our combined resources allow us to service jobs both big and small while still maintaining our mom & pop approach to our client relationships.

 

As a matter of fact, most of my clients on the vendor side end up working with me on my production teams as PMs and Coordinators as well.
